The first in a series of old world plants i am doing. The theme in the title "witches brew" i chose because of the commonly used plants in pagan rituals that dominate this series. most of these plants are also highly toxic, so never use, handle, or ingest these plants unless you are a certified herbologist who knows what you're doing. Belladonna, otherwise known as Deadly nightshade is a powerful toxin and hallucinagen. NEVER ingest any part of this plant, and avoid handeling it. This plant was used in pagan rituals. The absobtion of the toxins created the feeling of weightlessness, and caused strong hallucinations. however the side effects of using this plant in any way would have made for a very painful day the next morning. including sever rashing, vomiting, and partial paralisis. all of these effects are temporary, and would wear off within a day. however if ingested this plant will cause paralisis of the heart and lead to death.

Witches Brew; Mandrake by Elijon

The second in a series of old world plants. Mandrake, most commonly known for its root and often called "the plant that wanted to be a man" due to its uncanny resemblance to the human form. the root seems to have a body, arms, and legs, often forming from a bulb at the top resembling a head. often used in healing rituals, mandrake was a very important of old pagan rituals and potions.

Jimson weed, otherwise known as the moon flower was commonly used in potions and as a hallucinagen. The spiky seed pods contain highly toxic seeds, that when taken correctly can cause powerful hallucinations. not to mention the side effct of death, if taken incorrectly. never ingest any part of this plant unless you are looking for a painful hospital vist, or not planning on waking up
